Classes Included in Diamond Club Fellowship Membership - Spinning, Abs & Buns, Step w/Weights, Resist-A-Ball, Boot Camp, Muscle Conditioning, Judo, Hard Core, Muscle Up, Bosu Classes and K-Bells.
Non-Diamond Members - $5 per class, $30 per month
Yoga - Cost is $50 per six-week session Pilates - Cost is $120 per six-week session
Martial Arts - $20 per class
Spinning - All cancellations for reserved bikes are required in advance to avoid the $6 spinning fee. (This includes Diamond Club Members)
Missouri Athletic Club Class Descriptions
30 Minute Abs
The ultimate ½ hour gut-buster. This class targets your tummy, trims your waistline, and will strengthen your back.
Abs & Buns
Non impact way to define your abs, lower back, hip, and glutes. Bands and balls used to strengthen, tone, and define!! Floor work required.
Aqua Fitness
This class highlights aerobic conditioning and muscle toning through low-impact exercises performed with hand weights, bands and foam barbells in both shallow and deep water.
Back To Basics “B2B”
A physical conditioning program that combines strength and cardiovascular exercises to achieve total body training. Participants will be challenged with calisthenics, circuit, resistance, and agility training, core strength, cardio endurance (hills, stairs, sprints etc.) "B2B" offers an exercise program that reduces weight, inches and allows people to see quick results. B2B is designed for all fitness levels with high and low impact adaptations to all exercises so everyone has a challenging workout and no one is left behind!!!
Boot Camp
Get your day started with this fast-paced, action-packed, high-energy class that combines sports drills with resistance training. Build strength, agility, and cardiovascular fitness while conditioning yourself to reach your ultimate potential. Its like a double shot of espresso!
Bosu Classes
Bosu means “both sides up.” Bosu Ball is half a resist-a-ball and a step combined into one exciting new piece of exercise equipment. As you focus on balance, strength, and flexibility, you will have a fun and challenging total body workout.
Circuit
Step and Step with Weights
Combination of step movements using hand weights and tension
bands.
Express
Workout
This
class combines yoga poses, kick boxing moves, and free weight
exercises to tone and sculpt the total body. Cross training
is the latest trend in the fitness world. This class is
open to all fitness levels and all age groups.
Combo-Bosu/Muscle Conditioning
This total body workout will include high intensity, low impact moves on and off of the Bosu Ball. This class will also include a muscle sculpting component as well as abs & stretching.
Hard Core
A step up from Abs & Buns, this intense 30 minute routine works the core area ( abs, obliques, low back, hips, and glutes) followed by 15 minutes of stretching.
Judo
Judo training gives you an excellent moderate physical activity, which improves and maintains muscle tone and stimulates mental activity.
LAUNCH
This
class promotes total body conditioning as well as stability,
coordination, and agility. 60 minutes of endurance, fat
burning, and muscle conditioning. Excellent for fat loss
and toning muscles! Class activities will vary and may include
plyometrics, weights, abdominal training, agility exercises,
running, and stair work.
Martial Arts
This program contains a process called Mountain Thinking that entails character building with the physical training techniques of martial arts.
Masters Swim
Adult swimmers have the option of following a structured workout, or their own lap swimming program. Lap lanes will be in place, and pull buoys and kickboards available for use.
Mix It Up
Featuring interval style training through a combination of cardio and strength training moves. This class will use a variety of equipment, from steps and bands to weights and Bosu Balls, in order to provide a total body workout. This is an energizing class that promises you results!
Muscle Conditioning
This class will work both upper and lower body muscles utilizing a variety of free weights and resistance training. From bands to balls to bars, this class will have you showing your stuff!
Muscle Up
A results-driven class using a variety of barbells, dumbbells, benches, and stability balls. Simple, controlled movements set to upbeat music focus on specific muscle groups
P-U-M-P
Get ready for swimsuit season with Pump Up your
Muscle Power. This new 45-minute endurance strength training program is all about light resistance with increased repetitions. The use of balls, bands, and bars in this class will provide you with a total body workout that will show you results!
Spinning
An energizing indoor cycling experience for all levels created by World-Class Endurance Cyclist Johnny G. Bring your energy, imagination, lots of water, and join us for this invigorating ride!
Step
Cardiovascular workout adapted to all skill levels. Uses
non-slip platform with risers to increase heart rate, muscle
conditioning, and core work.
Total Body
This class will challenge you with a mix of high intensity
cardio kickboxing, high energy step, and resistance training.
Total Body is suitable for all fitness levels. So don't
"weight," "step" up and start "kicking"
your way to better health!
Yoga
Come and rejuvenate, free yourself, and come to life as
you take an incredible mind and body journey to peacefulness
and relaxation. Yoga assists to increase flexibility and
strengthen you both mentally and physically.
