Gil is an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) certified personal trainer and is CPR certified. Gil has more than 14 years professional experience as a personal trainer. He has also been certified by Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (A.F.A.A.) and Nautilus Equipment Company. His educational background includes: anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology, weight training and conditioning, plyometrics, isometrics and cardio conditioning. He has been an employee of the MAC for more than seven years.

Marty is an International Sports Sciences Association Certified Personal Trainer. He is CPR/First Aid Certified. Marty specializes in sports/youth conditioning and has extensive experience as a coordinator/instructor of Kid Fit Program. He has an Associates of Arts Degree from St. Louis Community College. Marty’s educational background includes: cardio conditioning, plyometrics, weight training and conditioning, anatomy and physiology and nutrition.

Mark Lumpkin has been involved in professional sports since 1992 and has trained extensively in the competitive martial arts. He is familiar with the physiological and psychological needs of athletes at all levels and knows the benefits of cross training, core strength, and dynamic balance. Mark also has a background in advanced massage therapy, movement therapy, yoga and psychology. He brings specific technical knowledge of anatomy and physiology along with muscular development to each client.

Beth graduated from Millikin University in 1999 with a B.S. in physical education with an emphasis in sports management. During the first two years she played for the Big Blue womens’ basketball team. The last two years she coached freshman girls basketball and assisted J.V. and varsity basketball at Eisenhower High School in Decatur, Ill. She received her personal training certification in 1999 through International Fitness Professionals Association and has been training for five years and worked at the MAC for four years. She became a spinning instructor in 2003.

is an ISSA certified personal trainer with experience in training people of all ages. He is CPR, AED and First Aid certified. Paul attended Missouri State University where he studied recreation and leisure studies. He teaches boot camp and muscle up classes at the MAC
Michelle McDonald 314-539-4433 x7455
is a hip hop instructor at MAC West and is a nationally certified personal trainer with ACE (American Council on Exercise). She has more than 15 years experience in the fitness industry. She has a range of training specialties such as sports-specific training and rehabilitation to weight loss and bodybuilding. Michelle trains individuals and groups from children to seniors, from pre-and post pregnancy to menopause and disease control such as Parkinson’s. She is also an author of a fitness book and has been a gymnast for more than 30 years. Her experience as a former NIPFL cheerleader has helped her to develop her dance skills as a choreographer. Michelle is also certified in nutrition. She has been a fixture at various fitness and health expos such as the Working Women’s Survival Show, creating and conducting workshops and seminars and also, performing on their fitness stages. Michelle’s goal as a fitness professional is to educate, motivate and inspire others to success.

Andrew

Andrew has been coaching and training athletes both as a team
and individually for more than nine years. Andrew got his education
while playing varsity basketball for Lehigh University. After
graduating he coached at the high school level as well as for
AAU girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. Andrew is currently
a level 4 certified personal trainer, as well as a certified spinning,
group exercise and yoga instructor. He also has his certification
in nutrition. Andrew is also CPR certified. With his experience
ranging from weight loss to competitive athletics, we have found
Andrew to be one of the best.
Keisha

Keisha has been with the MAC for more than five years. She came
to the MAC with a degree in sports management, where her emphasis
was in fitness and sports medicine. She also has certifications
in personal training and Pilates from such organizations as the
American Council on Exercise. With a lifelong commitment to fitness,
including scholarships in cross country and track, Keisha has
the ability to make what some would consider work into fun.

Elaine Wortham is a fitness consultant with 21 years of experience.
Her goal is to get people back on track. If you are interested,
she would like to develop a training program that meets your individual
needs so you can receive the maximum benefits. She will also monitor
your progress and adapt your programs to keep you on track to
reach your goals. Working with a personal trainer can help you

Trent Switzer has over 10 years of experience in personal training
of people of all ages, including seniors. Switzer is an AFAA Certified
Personal Trainer (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America)
and Group Exercise Instructor. He also is trained in CPR, AED
and first aid. Switzer’s educational background is in health
and physical education from the University of Missouri.
