Ladies Daytime Instructional Clinic
Level of Play: Beg./Int.
Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m.
Each class period will focus on one or two new strokes. Classes will begin with instruction and demonstration of the day’s topic(s) by one of our tennis pros. This will be followed by drilling of the new stroke or technique. The last half hour of each class will be used to practice your tennis skills in a game or game-like situation. During this portion of the class, the tennis pros will be giving tips on strategy, court positioning and stroke production, as well as guidance concerning tennis rules and etiquette. Our goal is to improve your tennis game and give you a good workout. All play is indoors.

Men's and Women's Play

NO COST: Members who hold a permanent court time for the 2010-11 season can come and play at no cost.

NEW TENNIS GROUP! This group is all about meeting fellow tennis players and playing some fun tennis. Come when you can. Come on your own or bring a partner! Players will be mixed throughout the two hours by tennis coordinator hosting the evening. We hope for you to meet new players, have a good match, make new friends and possibly find people to play with on a more regular basis. Come join us!

Ladies Singles Match-Maker (Code 1050)
Calling all ladies interested in playing singles!!!
We need to find more players interested in singles so that we can pair you up and find you a match for the tennis courts. To sign up for the Ladies Singles Match-Maker, use the registration form in the back of this booklet and sign up for tennis code 1050. Write in your relevant tennis information including your level of play, who, if anyone you enjoy playing with at present and times when you are available to play. (i.e. evenings and weekends only) Don’t forget to leave us your email address and we will contact you to get going! Let us find you! Once we do, we can , in turn, help you find a playing partner for singles.

*Non-Members may only sign up as a guest of a member enrolled in the same class.

Mens’ League Play
Men’s leagues are available for both singles and doubles players. Each week groups of players get together to enjoy some match play with other club members. The Missouri Athletic Club sets up the matches and supplies the tennis balls. Players decide when they are available to play and only pay for those weeks.

Mens’ Singles & Doubles League Play
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 7-8:30 p.m.

Play when you can. Pay only when you play!
Singles: $15 per time
Doubles: $10 per time

If you register for any of these leagues, you will be contacted by the pro who will be the league coordinator and talk with you about the dates you will be available to play.

Ladies' Interclub Match Play
Join our women’s interclub team and you will have the opportunity to compete in doubles against other area teams. Matches are scheduled on Friday mornings. Teams are set up on three different levels, and practices will be held as listed below. To register for interclub practices, please fill out a registration form. If you are only interested in competing on Friday, please call Scott Stutz for more information (314-539-4411).
