Junior Tennis Programs 2008
Advanced Junior Tennis (ages 12-15)
This class is geared for junior tennis players intent on improving
their tennis skills. Interclub matches against other clubs on
some Friday afternoons will be included for this class. Only serious
players are encouraged to enroll. Strategy and shot technique
will be covered. To maintain a competitive level of play, players
must be approved for this class by the tennis pro in charge. Emphasis
is placed on improving one’s competitive game. Play is all
indoors.
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 9 a.m.-Noon
Cost: $125 per week, Non-Member Cost: $150**

These classes are for junior beginner and intermediate players.
Emphasis is placed on stroke technique and maintaining an enjoyment
of the game through drills, games and friendly competition. Match
play amongst the students will be included. All play is indoors.
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $120 per week, Non-Member cost: $145**

Class size is limited to 40 participants for both the Junior Star
and Future Star classes combined.

Tennis (Ages 5-7)
These classes are geared to give young kids an enthusiasm for
the game and to get them started out on the right foot.
Each class meets twice each week. Weeks cannot be pro-rate for
just one day. All play is indoors. Class size: minimum = 5, maximum
= 15
Ages: 5-7
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: Noon-1 p.m.
Cost: $36 per week, Non-Member Cost: $45**

Junior
Tennis Program Guidelines and Withdrawal Policy
• Phone registrations will NOT be
accepted.
" Fill out a registration form and: Drop it off at the
MAC West Pro Shop, Mail to: MAC Tennis, 1777 Des Peres Road,
Town & Country , MO 63034 or Fax to 314-965-7781
• Participants may sign up for one week, several weeks
or all summer. All summer is available at a discounted rate.
• Partial weeks of attendance will not be pro-rated.
• Participants will be billed the month their class begins.
" All cancellations must be made through the tennis director,
Kim Steinmetz at 314-539-4413.
• A cancellation fee of $10 will be charged for all cancellations.
• Particpants are allowed to sponsor non-member guests
who will be participating in the same class as the participant.
The cost for non-members is 10% higher than that charged to
members.
• Withdrawals made within three days before the
start of the class will be charged for the first day of class.
• Withdrawals made after the class has begun will
be charged a pro-rated amount for any class day that was held
up until the time of the withdrawal.
• Classes will be canceled if less than five participants
are registered.
• We ask that participants wear appropriate athletic attire.
Cut-offs and jeans will not be allowed.
• Tennis shoes should have a white tread. Black soled shoes
are acceptable only if they do not make marks on the court surface.
