The Missouri Athletic Club: Where Fairy Tale Weddings Come True

We, at the Missouri Athletic Club, feel an honest sense of gratitude, that you have considered celebrating the day with us.
The MAC’s highly qualified catering staff specializes in gauging what couples want out of their weddings and then making their dreams come true. In creating a picture-perfect wedding, the first thing you’ll have to choose is the right room.
With two-story windows, detailed ceilings and gorgeous crystal chandeliers, the Missouri Room is the definition of elegance. The enchanting ballroom's traditional class and natural grace makes it the picturesque location for fairytale receptions. The enchanting ballroom has been the centerpiece of the downtown clubhouse since it was built in 1916.
Located on the first floor of the Missouri Athletic Club, the Art Lounge offers an old-world ambience with its unique collection of fine art and antiques, 20-foot ceilings and majestic marble pillars. The Art Lounge is an exquisite site for a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour before adjourning to the banquet room of your choice.
With doors that open to the Missouri Room, renting the Eads Room is a great way to provide additional space for a large Missouri Room reception. Its wooden panels and beautiful artwork also make it an ideal place for smaller weddings.
The Crystal Room offers the same elegance found in the Missouri Room but on a smaller scale. Decorated with dozens of crystal chandeliers, the Crystal Room is the perfect place for an intimate wedding reception and/or wedding.
Wedding Celebration Services
The Missouri Athletic Club realizes that your wedding day is one of the most special days that you and your spouse will share during your marriage. For this momentous occasion, the MAC has several wedding celebration services that will be offered to you for your reception.
The MAC wedding celebration services include:
• A personal catering consultant who will assist you from first contact as well as during and beyond the day of your reception.
• The best resources offered at the MAC are made available to you to make this event special.
• A complimentary tasting of entrée selections with your catering consultant.
• A complimentary overnight room for the bride and groom on their wedding night.
• A bottle of champagne in the overnight room on the day of your wedding.
• White linen, china, glassware, tables, chairs, bars and risers provided by the MAC
• Complimentary garage parking for all guests attending the
celebration. This does not include guests staying overnight in
a guest room at the MAC.
• The pastry chef works closely with the catering consultant, as well as the bride, to create the dream cake.
The Missouri Athletic Club's standard bridal cake is complimentary. You can choose the decoration and shape which reflects your own personal style. The cake's flavor and style must be selected 10 days prior to wedding date.
Note: The Club offers no centerpieces, mirrors, candelabras, chair covers etc. These should be obtained through a florist or rental company of your choosing.
Additional Service Information
The Missouri Athletic Club designed its Wedding Reception Packet to eliminate any surprise hidden costs. Keeping this in mind, the MAC has listed below additional charges you can anticipate, should you decide to celebrate your reception at the Club.
• All food and beverage purchases are subject to a standard 23 percent service charge. Additional bartender and server fees may apply in some cases.
• A deposit will be required to confirm your reservation. The amount of deposit for the Missouri Room, Art Lounge and Eads Room is $3,000; the amount for the Crystal Room is $750.
• Please refer to your room-rental agreement for the cancellation and deposit refund policy.
• There is a non-member room rental fee of $3,000 for the Missouri Room and $750 for the Crystal Room. There is also a $1.50 set-up fee per person. Please inquire with your catering consultant for more details.
• There is a $15 corkage fee per bottle of wine not purchased through the Missouri Athletic Club.
• The MAC shuttle can be provided if available at $60 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
• Dinner, wine and hors d’oeuvres are not included in the package.
