Alex Ingham serves the Missouri Athletic Club’s squash department as its Squash Director. He is primarily responsible for bolstering and developing the squash program for adults and juniors, delivery quality member experience and scheduling in-house and international tournaments and exhibitions.
Alex is known for being technically efficient, deceptive and swift. He’s played squash his whole life and has a real passion and love for the game.
Background & Experience
Alex first joined the MAC staff in 2016 as assistant pro for two years. He then moved to the east coast to the Boston Tennis and Racquet Club before returning to the MAC in May 2019 to serve as Squash Director, which he calls “a dream come true.”
Looking toward the future, Alex is excited to get to know the staff and members and create a fun environment to promote the member experience. He hopes to introduce everyone to the healthy, physically engaging sport of squash.
Alex grew up in Weybridge, Surrey, a South West London suburb. He enjoys reading up on sport psychology in his free time, and on Sundays, he prepares “a mean Sunday roast,” an English tradition of meat, potatoes, gravy and all the trimmings.
