Clubs Within the Club & Special Interest Groups
Clubs Within the Club (CWC) and Special Interest Groups offer Missouri Athletic Club Members opportunities to socialize, travel and improve in sports, hobbies and other specific interest areas.
CWCs
APOLLOS
Founded in 1943, the Apollos are the longest established Club Within the Club at the MAC. Music, good fellowship and community service are some of the rewards of being an Apollo.
THE ASSOCIATES
The Associates are part of the MAC's "Associate" membership category; those who are 30 years of age and under. They enjoy planning happy hours and pub crawls along with other social and networking opportunities.
BOOK CLUB
Members read for enjoyment and have an opportunity to discuss the book with others. The group converses about the story line and ideas within the book, and explores the creativity and work of writing books.
BRIDGE CLUB
Fellowship is promoted amongst members through playing cards.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GROUP
Monthly breakfast meetings are hosted with varying formats including speakers, short presentations and round table discussions focusing on business practices, process and development topics. Members and guests also have opportunities to network.
CHARITABLE SOCIETY FOR CHILDREN
Each year, three charities are selected as beneficiaries, and the money collected during the year is divided among the three organizations.
DANCE CLUB
Dance lessons are taught by an award-winning ballroom instructor, and this club sponsors regular dances at the MAC.
FOREVER YOUNG CLUB
Older MAC members plan social meetings and events.
GOLF CLUB
Members who enjoy playing golf get together on a regular basis, host leagues, outings and trips.

LAWYERS' GROUP
Join the MAC Lawyers’ Group for camaraderie, social events, public service opportunities and CLE classes.
LUNCH & TOUR GROUP
This group of ladies plans fun and exciting outings to places around the St. Louis area for lunch, dinner or an activity.
PAC SOCIAL CLUB
The MAC PAC provides new social activities at both Clubhouses and offsite. The group promotes Member engagement, works to build camaraderie and allow Members the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other while having a good time.
ROD & GUN CLUB
Members enjoy unique hunting and fishing adventures along with observance of the latest conservation practices using first class equipment.
MARK TWAIN SOCIETY
This group offers opportunities throughout the year for members to meet, socialize and dine in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying cocktails, craft beer, cigars and hors d’oeuvres.
MILITARY HISTORY CLUB
This group meets for lunch at the Downtown Clubhouse on a monthly basis. A speaker is featured for each meeting. Past speakers have shared their impressions or experiences of the Battle of Iwo Jima, Battle of Midway and other important military events.
TOASTMASTERS CLUB
Part of a worldwide group of more than 10,000 clubs, MAC Toastmasters focuses on helping men and women learn and practice the arts of public speaking, listening and critical thinking.
WINE SOCIETY
This club is open to all members interested in wine and offers social activities focused on wine tasting, pairing and education.
Special Interest Groups
Bridge Club
Promotes fellowship through card-playing activities.
Dance Club
Hosts dance lessons, taught by an award-winning ballroom instructor, and sponsors regular dances.
