Squash

The Missouri Athletic Club offers adult and junior squash programs. The Downtown Clubhouse has a single squash court and a doubles squash court. The West Clubhouse has four singles courts and one doubles court.

      Tournaments

      Throughout the season, opportunities to participate in several in-club. Open and traveling tournaments are available. Learn more about the Squash Season Opener here.

      The MAC hosts a range of tournaments including the Club Championship event for boys and girls U11 - U19 categories, an in-house Junior League Ladder, US Squash Sanctioned event and Local St. Louis Junior Circuit.


      Future Stars (Ages 7-11)

      Start date: Tuesday, Sept. 3
      When: Tuesday 4-4:45 p.m. and Saturday 12:15-1 p.m.

      • This is a great opportunity to introduce your kids to a high-paced and strategic racquet sport!
      • Learn the basic technical stroke fundamentals, combined with fun games.
      • Equipment provided!
      Pricing: Member: 1 p/w $100, 2 p/w $200 Non-Member: 1 p/w $130, 2 p/w $230

      High-Performance Program (Ages 11-15)

      Start date: Wednesday, Aug. 28
      When: Monday 5-6:30 p.m., Wednesday 5-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 1-2:30 p.m.

      • You may choose to come to two of the three sessions per week.
      • It is advised you take an individual lesson at least once a week to fine tune technique. These sessions focus on developing solid technical fundamentals, improving shot consistency, learning effective match tactics and fun games.
      • Training includes 30-minute fitness session with a MAC personal trainer.
      Pricing: Member: $390 Non-Member: $490 

      Elite Academy (ages 14+)

      Start date: Tuesday, Sept. 3
      When: Tuesday 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday 5-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 2-3:30 p.m.

      • You may choose to come to two of the three sessions per week.
      • It is advised you take an individual lesson at least once a week to fine tune technique. These sessions focus on advanced drilling, racquet work, learning how to link shot combinations together, executing match tactics and mental preparation.
      • Training includes 30-minute fitness session with a MAC personal trainer.
      Pricing: Member: $390
      Non-Member: $490 

      These programs are selective and have limited space, so please ask the Squash Pro about them if you are interested. 

      Private Lessons

      Private and semi-private lessons are available with the Squash Pro.

      Tournaments

      The MAC hosts a large Club Championship event and several junior events throughout the season. We will be hosting the new St. Louis Junior Circuit. This will consist of three separate tournaments offering ranking points with the top 4-6 ranked players progressing to a Regional Finals. See the calendar for dates.

      We will also be host to the Mid-West Regional Championships this season in March.

      Tournament Coaching

      Alongside the junior program, Alex Ingham offers junior tournament coaching for various bronze, silver, gold level tournaments around the country. These provide a great opportunity to build up your national squash ranking, to gain valuable match experience, working toward making your school and future potential college team. There is also a ‘US Scholar Athlete award.' High school students who have a 3.5 or higher GPA at the end of the school year and have played in four US Squash accredited singles tournaments, or an approved number of US Squash Scholastic Squash Program (SSP) are eligible to apply.
