Indoor Cycling Classes

Our athletic offerings include indoor cycling classes, which provide a structured cardio workout in a dedicated cycle studio. These classes are designed for a wide range of fitness levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

Each class is led by an instructor and follows a simple format. You’ll ride through a mix of steady pace movements, short sprints, and recovery periods, ending with a relaxing cool down. Our goal is to give you a consistent workout you can adjust to your own pace and look forward to every week.

What to Expect

Indoor cycling is a low-impact workout that can also deliver high-intensity results, allowing you to control the resistance on your bike and adjust the challenge to match your fitness level. Each class combines Cardio intervals, endurance riding, short sprints, HIIT-style efforts, lower body training with optional upper body work, and a full-body workout that can be modified to suit a variety of fitness levels. This format is similar to other group training and exercise classes, with instructors providing guidance throughout the entire session so you always know what to expect and can focus on your ride.

The MAC Cycle Studio Enviroment

All spin classes take place in a dedicated cycle studio. At the Missouri Athletic Club, instructors enjoy incorporating fun, upbeat playlists, often incorporating music ranging from hip-hop classics to Taylor Swift’s greatest hits, depending on the class. Our studio is air-conditioned to provide a comfortable environment for your indoor cycling workout. It comes stocked with fresh towels, top-of-the-line equipment, and nearby water stations to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the class.

Training and Benefits

Indoor cycling can be an important part of a well-rounded fitness routine alongside Pilates, bootcamp workouts, and personal training. It provides an effective cardio workout while supporting long-term wellness goals for a variety of fitness levels. With consistent participation, indoor cycling can improve cardio fitness and stamina, build lower body strength, promote full body movement through the inclusion of upper body exercises, and contribute to overall wellness through regular physical activity.

Class Access

Our classes are available as part of group training and may be included with a gym membership or day pass. Some members attend regularly, similar to the unlimited rides offered at other cycling studios.
