St. Louis Summer Camps

Summer camps at the Missouri Athletic Club offer more than a way to fill the school break. They create a camp experience rooted in enrichment, movement, and connection. Designed for kids ages preschool through middle school and select high school programs, these summer programs blend hands-on activities, sports, creativity, and social time in a setting families across St. Louis and St. Louis County trust.

Camp Programs and Offerings

The Missouri Athletic Club offers a wide range of camp programs that reflect the interests and energy of today’s campers while staying grounded in thoughtful programming.

With a full lineup of summer camps running from May through August, the Club provides a consistent, full-day and half-day summer day camp option that supports families throughout the school year transition. Campers enjoy structured days, experienced staff, and spaces designed for learning, play, and exploration at a nonprofit institution with deep roots in Missouri.

Registration opens in February with camp registration available through the mobile app.

Camp MAC

Camp MAC is the Club’s signature summer day camp, offering 12 weeks of programming with full-day and half-day options. Campers participate in sports camps like tennis, squash, and pickleball, along with games, arts and crafts, and pool time. The structure allows for easy drop-off while giving children a balanced, active day in a familiar setting.

Preschool Camp

Preschool Camp is designed for younger campers and focuses on early enrichment through themed activities, stories, games, and movement. This half-day program supports kids ages three to five in a classroom-based environment with daily hands-on experiences beyond the room.

Specialty Camps

Half-day specialty camps allow campers to explore focused interests. Offerings include creative and athletic options such as art camps, basketball, volleyball, flag football, cheer, and other sports camps. Additional programs are announced each spring, keeping the summer academy lineup fresh and engaging. Programs may vary by week and location, serving families throughout STL, including Kirkwood, Wildwood, South County, and surrounding communities.

Adventure and Field Trip Camps

Select weeks feature off-site field trips that take campers beyond the clubhouse to explore landmarks and destinations around St. Louis and the greater STL region. These camps add variety and discovery to the overall camp experience while remaining fully supervised and organized.

Counselor in Training Program

The Counselor in Training program is available for ages 12 to 15 and introduces older campers to leadership, mentoring, and responsibility. Participants gain hands-on experience assisting with camp operations while building skills that carry into middle school, high school, and beyond.
