For more than a century, the Missouri Athletic Club’s Downtown Clubhouse has stood as a constant in an ever-changing city - a place shaped by tradition, shared experiences, and a deep sense of belonging. Preserving that legacy is the purpose behind the MAC Historic Preservation Fund. 

The fund offers members a meaningful opportunity to support the ongoing restoration and care of this treasured St. Louis landmark. Through thoughtful stewardship, it ensures that the Downtown Clubhouse not only reflects the Club’s history but continues to serve members and the broader community for generations to come. 

Why This Fund Matters 

Contributions to the MAC Historic Preservation Fund directly support the long-term preservation of the Downtown Clubhouse. Funds are designated for restoration and maintenance projects that protect the building’s architectural character, core systems, and exterior - work that safeguards both its beauty and its function. 

As a cornerstone of St. Louis’s cultural landscape, the MAC thrives because of its members. Their generosity helps ensure the Club remains a vibrant, welcoming place where history and community continue to intersect. 

The fund is administered in partnership with the St. Louis Community Foundation, providing trusted oversight, transparency, and responsible stewardship.
